      The short version: Your financial inputs (income, savings, expenses) never leave your device — all calculator math runs locally in your browser. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic (pages visited, country, device type). We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles.
    

1. Who we are

Should I Quit Now? (shouldiquitnow.com) is a free retirement planning calculator operated by Optimus Global Solutions, Tel-Aviv, Israel. Contact: LinkedIn.

2. What data we collect (and do not collect)

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit:

Your financial inputs — income, savings, investment balances, expenses, or any numbers you enter into the calculator
Your calculation results or retirement projections
Your name, email address, or any identity information (unless you voluntarily provide it for the premium report checkout — processed by Lemon Squeezy, see §6)
Any personally identifiable financial information

We DO collect (via Google Analytics):

Pages visited and time on page
Approximate geographic location (country/city level — derived from IP, not GPS)
Device type, browser, and operating system
Referring website (how you found us)
Session and interaction events (e.g., button clicks, scroll depth) — in aggregate, not linked to you personally

IP addresses sent to Google Analytics are anonymized before storage (IP anonymization is enabled). Google Analytics Measurement ID: G-PBDSYKBQZQ.

3. How the calculator works

All calculations are performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. When you move a slider or change an input, the computation happens locally on your device. No financial data is sent to our servers. Refreshing the page clears all your inputs — we do not use localStorage or cookies to persist your financial data between sessions.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_PBDSYKBQZQ) — set by Google Analytics (GA4) to distinguish unique users and sessions for aggregate traffic measurement. These cookies do not contain your financial inputs. They persist for up to 2 years. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any cookies that track you across other websites for commercial purposes.

5. Standard server logs

Like all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical information when you visit:

IP address (used for security/DDoS protection; Cloudflare's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy)
Browser type and version
Referring URL
Pages visited and timestamps

This data is used solely for security monitoring and is not linked to any personal or financial information.

6. Third-party services

We load the following third-party resources. Each may set their own cookies or collect data per their privacy policies:

Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) — payment processor for the premium report. When you click to purchase, you are redirected to Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment card and email address subject to their Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive your email address for order fulfillment.

7. Affiliate links

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. Affiliated products are disclosed where they appear. We only link to products and services we believe are relevant and useful.

8. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. GDPR (EU/EEA users)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process data on the following lawful bases:

Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — aggregate analytics to understand how users find and use the Site, and server logs for security and abuse prevention. These interests do not override your privacy rights given the limited, aggregated nature of the data.
Contractual necessity — if you purchase the premium report, processing your email for order fulfillment.

Your rights under GDPR: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Since we hold only aggregate analytics data (not linked to you individually), exercising most of these rights means opting out of Google Analytics (see §4). Data transfers: Google Analytics may transfer data to the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For details, see Google's framework page.

10. CCPA / CPRA (California users)

We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: Internet or other electronic network activity information (pages visited, interactions — via Google Analytics, in aggregate). We do not collect identifiers, financial information, or sensitive personal information from California consumers.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in §12. For Google Analytics opt-out, see §4.

11. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting your rights, we will post a notice on the website. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
