1. Who we are

Should I Quit Now? (shouldiquitnow.com) is a free retirement planning calculator operated by Optimus Global Solutions, Tel-Aviv, Israel. Contact: LinkedIn.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or process:

Your name, email address, or any identity information
Your financial inputs (income, savings, investments, expenses)
Your calculation results or retirement projections
Your IP address (beyond standard server logs, see §4)
Any personally identifiable information (PII)

3. How the calculator works

All calculations are performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. When you move a slider or change an input, the computation happens locally on your device. No data is sent to our servers. Refreshing the page clears all your inputs — we do not use localStorage or cookies to persist your financial data.

4. Standard server logs

Like all websites, our web server may automatically log standard technical information when you visit:

Your IP address (anonymized after 24 hours)
Browser type and version
Referring URL
Pages visited and timestamps

This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis (e.g., how many people visit per day). It is never linked to any personal or financial information.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that identify individual users. If we use any cookies in the future (e.g., for a logged-in Premium feature), we will update this policy and add a cookie consent notice.

6. Third-party services

We load the following third-party resources, which may set their own cookies or collect data per their policies:

Lemon Squeezy — payment processor for the premium report (lemonsqueezy.com). When you click "Unlock My Risk Report", you are redirected to Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and email address subject to their Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment card details.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral advertising trackers.

7. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. GDPR (EU/EEA users)

Since we do not collect personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we do not process personal data as a data controller for the core calculator functionality. Standard server logs are processed on the lawful basis of legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention) and are anonymized within 24 hours.

9. CCPA (California users)

We do not sell personal information. Since we do not collect personal information beyond anonymized server logs, California residents' rights under the CCPA (to know, delete, and opt-out) are satisfied by our default practice of not collecting personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice on the website. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
